The world is changing quickly, and we need innovators to create products that will meet the high demands of our consumers. This program provides rising middle school students with opportunity to create, design, and launch a new product. It is never too early to be introduce to business principles that are linked to innovation and design. The program launches by teaching students about market research, 4 P’s of marketing, and inventive designing. Based on the need in the market, student begin working on the concept, design, build, redesign phases of the invention process. The simulated learning activities include utilizing materials and supplies to design their products. We will use science, technology, and engineering activities to inspire students to invent products. Students will learn about the invention of products such as phones, sneakers, soda, and other products. Students will work with entrepreneurs to help them with their inventions. At the end of the week, students will present their inventions before a panel of business leaders in the “Shark Pit.” So, get ready to invent and become the next big entrepreneur!
